Good morning! Thank you for commenting back. We had fun learning about your school. We're so jealous about all the recess time you get (we did the math...70 minutes!). We only get 20 minutes! Sometimes we get a "FAB" which stands for Fresh Air Break. You're lucky and must be really active! We're curious: how long is your lunch time? We were interested in learning about health and dance. What types of things do you do and learn in these classes? We found it interesting that we say "2nd graders" and you say "Grade 2 students" It's fun learning about other schools! We agree that we should make a venn diagram comparing our schools! Thanks again for writing. We can't wait to see your Chopsticks art!
PS- We blogged the answers to our book questions yesterday, but they didn't show up. We'll try again today!
Our lunch recess is 40 minutes outside and 20 minutes to eat inside. Drama, is with Ms. Saunders. She keeps us active by having us move in different ways around the class. Health is with Mr. Armoogan. He teaches us about healthy and safe choices in our life inside and outside of school. By; Haajirah
Opps we forgot to mention, that lunch is 60 minutes: 20 minutes of eating and 40 minutes of recess time! We also have 15 minutes of Daily Physical Activity (DPA) on the days that we do not have Phys. Ed. During the DPA we can do anything as long as we are moving and getting our hearts pumping! We like to do the Go Noodle action videos!
